1. Obsolete form of amenorrhoea.
   • 1829, Henri Milne-Edwards, A Manual of Materia Medica and Pharmacy‎^[1], page 304:

     Indeed it has proved very successful in certain amenorrhϾ, and affections dependent upon the presence of worms.

   • 1902, Archibald Donald, The Journal of Obstetrics and Gynæcology of the British Empire, volume I, Baillière, Tindall & Cox, page 363:

     In one case there had been a period of amenorrhœa of nearly two months, while in the other there had been no absence of the ordinary menstrual period. In one case hæmorrhage followed upon the period of amenorrhœa, while in the other the hæmorrhage had started at what was thought to be a normal menstrual period.
