Pronunciation edit

Noun edit

anötö (possessed anötöi)

  1. fishhook

Usage notes edit

Hall defines this word once in the form anöötö (with a non-phonemic long vowel) as “fishhook” and once in the form anötö as “fishnet”; the latter definition seems to be in error, unless perhaps the meaning of the word is broad enough to cover both.
