Ayomán

edit

Etymology

edit

Compare Quechua raqacha, racacha and Muzo arocueche (which see for more details). The Ayomán word is perhaps from Quechua raqacha, racacha, though it is unclear if that word spread "during and after Inca conquest, or in archaic times, when arracacha spread across the Andes".[1]
