café complet m (plural cafés complets)
- (especially Switzerland) evening snack. White coffee is served, together with bread, butter, cheese, jam and honey. The origin lies with 1870ies hotels in central and western Switzerland and also the Bernese Oberland. In the traditional Swiss home, it's the usual dinner.
