    • 1911 June, The Medical Times, volume 39, page 186:
      Electricity is comparatively of little value. The galvonic current causes a tonic contraction, and this is the most serviceable form.

      Corrosion, also termed galvonic corrosion, that occurs when two different metals are in contact in the presence of an electrolyte.
