hasty breaching (uncountable)
- (military) The clearing of a passage through a minefield or other barrier by various improvised means.
1969, Engineer Field Data, pages 3–17:Hasty breaching requires speed with a minimum of planning. Leading combat units must often clear a lane of all mines. Special mechanical or explosive devices, artillery or aerial bombardment, or specially trained teams accomplish this.
