   Used as a lighter expletive

   jädrans follows the pattern of the satan ("satans") and attan ("attans"). Similarly to how hundra was turned into hundan and tusen was turned into tusan, jädra (which was derived from jävla) was turned into jädran. Compare jädringen with hundingen and tusiken.
