  1. Composed of a single integral unit or so appearing.
    A one-piece metal hammer with an applied rubbery handgrip is nonetheless one integral piece, because the head, shaft, handle, and butt are cast in a single mold and/or forged as one seamless unit.
    A man's one-piece swimsuit can be as small as a jock strap, whereas a woman's one-piece swimsuit covers both the genitalia and the breasts.
