Adverb edit

orthogōnaliter (not comparable)

  1. orthogonally
    • 1611, Johannes Kepler, Strena seu de nive sexangula 16:
Illic diametri quidem duo oppositorum contactuum sese secant orthogonaliter, reliqui quattuor non item: hic omnes tres diametri sese secant aequaliter et orthogonaliter.
There indeed two diameters of opposite contacts cut each other at right angles, the remaining four do not do the same: here all three diameters cut each other equally and orthogonally.
