      Briefly, 3 days before administration of the nephrotoxic serum, mice were subcutaneously preimmunized with 2 mg/ml rabbit IgG (Jackson ImmunoResearch Laboratories, West Grove, PA, USA) dissolved in incomplete Freund´s adjuvant (Sigma-Aldrich, St. Louis, MO, USA) with desiccated, nonviable Mycobacterium tuberculosis H37a (Difco Laboratories, Detroit, MI, USA).
