pseudoneurotic schizophrenia (uncountable)

  1. (psychiatry) A postulated mental disorder categorized by the presence of two or more symptoms of mental illness such as anxiety, hysteria, and phobic or obsessive-compulsive neuroses.

Usage notes edit

  • This mental illness, however, is no longer acknowledged as a clinical entity. However, pseudoneurotic schizophrenia still exists in the Russian adapted version of the ICD-10 (code F21.3).
