pterygomandibular raphe (plural pterygomandibular raphae)
- (anatomy) A fibrous seam that descends from the pterygoid hamulus of the medial pterygoid plate to the mylohyoid line of the mandible and that separates and gives rise to the superior pharyngeal constrictor and the buccinator.
