Etymology edit

From Proto-Khasian *rŋa~*rŋaw, from Proto-Austroasiatic *rŋaʔ ~ *rŋəʔ.[1] Cognate to Pnar rngaw, as well as Mon ဗမတ် လ္ၚ (/kəmot təŋɛ̀ˀ/), Bulo Stieng /rəŋaː/; also compare Khmer រងើក (rɔngəək).
