      A less advanced class of compounds is the steroidal sulphamoylated compounds; the lead compound, 2-methoxyoestradiol-3,17- O,O - bis -sulphamate, is still in pre-clinical development but has shown potent anti-cancer activities both in vitro and in vivo ( Chander et al, 2007 ; Raobaikady et al, 2005 ; Newman et al, 2008 ; Day et al, 2009 ; Meyer-Losic et al, 2013 ).
