  1. Archaic form of vizier.
    • 1825, James Baillie Fraser, Narrative of a Journey Into Khorasan, page 36:
      Mahomed Khan, disgusted at the authority assumed by his wuzzeer, and incensed at the affront he had offered or permitted towards the royal family, dispatched his son Camrim to Herat, with orders to seize the city and the wuzzeer, if possible.
