Inherited from Sauraseni Prakrit 𑀧𑀳𑀼𑀘𑁆𑀘 (pahucca) +‎ ـنا (-nā, verbal suffix).

پَہُن٘چنا (pahõcnā or pahũcnā) (Hindi spelling पहुँचना)

  1. to arrive, to reach
    ہَوَائی جَہاز دُبَئی تَک پَہُن٘چا ہَے۔
    havāī jahāz dubaī tak pahũcā hai.
    The airplane has reached as far as Dubai.
  2. (transitive) to feel
    اُس کو بَہُت تَکْلِیف پَہُن٘چِی۔
    us ko bahut taklīf pahũcī.
    He was very hurt.
    (literally, “He felt much pain or trouble.”)
