Pronunciation edit
Root edit
bridi (rafsi bri)
- (grammar) predicative sentence, predicate relationship, predication; x1 is a predicative sentence with selbri (“predicate/relation”) x2 and sumti (“arguments”) x3
Usage notes edit
- A bridi (“sentence/predication”) is basically the Lojban equivalent of a simple sentence (atomic formula). It corresponds to what in predicate calculus would be a predicate whose parameters are filled in with arguments, turning it into a proposition/predication.
