Etymology edit

Originally a trademark of the Eskimo Pie Corporation for a product patented in 1922, later licensed to other companies or used as a genericized trademark.

Eskimo pie (plural Eskimo pies)

  1. A bar of ice cream covered in chocolate, usually on a stick.

      In the course of Counselor Halley's interrogations of Frank Costello this morning, the name of Eskimo pie was identified as one of the products made by Dainties Products Corp.
