Etymology

From F-side + the suffix -er. The F-side is a term referring to the hard core of supporters (ultras) supporting the soccer club AFC Ajax from Amsterdam; it is named after the stand labelled F in the Ajax stadium, where these supporters traditionally gather during matches.
