From New Latin homologūmena, from Ancient Greek ὁμολογούμενα (homologoúmena, literally things agreed upon), neuter plural form of the present mediopassive participle of ὁμολογέω (homologéō, to agree with).

  1. (Christianity) Those books of the New Testament which were acknowledged as canonical by the early church; distinguished from Antilegomena.
