After the MUFFIN program written by Rich Williams at Apple, supposed to be an acronym of move utility for files in NewDOS.

  1. (computing, transitive) To transfer files between 13-sector and 16-sector Apple II diskettes, as with MUFFIN (Move Utility For Files In NewDOS.)
