@Benwing2 It seems you standardized "Inherited from" in Hindi? I (and the couple other South Asian editors) haven't really been using that, I've only explicitly marked "Borrowed from". - @AryamanA Sorry, forgot to respond to this. I like having "Inherited from" to parallel "Borrowed from" as it makes it clear in both cases whether the term is inherited or borrowed, but if you want it gone, I won't object to you removing it. Benwing2 (talk) 04:44, 31 August 2020 (UTC)

- @AryamanA, Atitarev I've seen "Borrowed from" and "Inherited from" used in various places for various languages. Use or non-use is not standardized. I do think information is lost by removing them; it's true that the template itself indicates whether the term is inherited or borrowed, but this is not visible to the end user except in the category at the bottom of the page, which is far from obvious. - @AryamanA, Benwing2 I also disliked inherited/borrowed words but I will now start using it, I guess, if it's preferred. It makes sense. Was there any discussion regarding "Further reading" vs "References"? I favour the latter but some templates, like Burmese accelerated entry creator uses the former and some users insist on it. --Anatoli T. (обсудить/вклад) 05:31, 31 August 2020 (UTC)
