The English mouth from OE mūþ, corrupted by loss of nasal consonant, as of tooth, goose, etc, is cognate with Dutch mond, German Mund, Icelandic munnur, Norwegian munn, Swedish mun, Common Germanic *munthaz. --KYPark 14:36, 9 May 2007 (UTC)
