Rfv-senses: (many) On July 30, 2005 many unvetted items from w:AAA were moved here: some proper nouns, some jargon, some dupes. Of proper nouns about 10 are for orgs that have WP articles; some might get articles; some had articles deleted, some are debatable. I've rfved the ones that seem the worst. I have the feeling that the WP dab group is likely to do a better job with proper nouns than us. We might do better with the jargon. Under our current interpretation of the lemming rule the terms would all be included I think. DCDuring TALK 15:33, 4 May 2009 (UTC)Reply

Rfv-senses:

  1. assign alternate are
  2. Alaska
I couldn't find much for Alaska, but "assign alternate area" seems to be a military acronym. Most of what I found were mentions, but I did put two cites on the citations page. Kiwima (talk) 20:04, 4 December 2019 (UTC)Reply
I have failed Alaska. With two cites, I am giving Assign Alternate Area some more time. Kiwima (talk) 21:05, 4 January 2020 (UTC)Reply

Rfv-sense: Initialism of Action Awareness Alert. --Vealhurl (talk) 00:50, 7 December 2019 (UTC)Reply

Virtually nothing to be found outside of abbreviation lists, but I did spot this document about nuclear plant safety [1]: "A computerized system is used (Action/Awareness/Alert) to communicate data or requests between the procurement group, the procurement engineer and the corporate level." So apparently it's three things (action, awareness, alert — like lights, camera, action), not a single noun phrase ("an action awareness alert"). Equinox 23:59, 7 December 2019 (UTC)Reply
" Along with the quote I put on the citations page, that gives us two. Kiwima (talk) 00:31, 8 December 2019 (UTC)Reply
