- There's (deprecated template usage) goad, and you could invent a word from go + -ed. But I don't think anyone actually says this. Equinox ◑ 12:21, 24 September 2009 (UTC)
Overgeneralization edit
A child who overgeneralizes past-tense -ed incorrectly inflects the verb ‘to go’ as goed instead of went. Backinstadiums (talk) 08:47, 27 July 2022 (UTC)
- indeed, but this could open a giant can of worms .... even if we stick to a strict three-cites rule, there are a lot of books with children's speech in them, and basically any irregular verb could be listed here on that basis. This could then extend to nouns, and then to other languages, and soon clicking Special:Random would quite often lead to a page saying something such as
- losted (childish) lost
- Maybe if we want to compile terms like these they could go in an appendix somewhere. Nearly nobody is going to need to actually ask what "losted" means even if they are not a native English speaker. —Soap— 23:53, 21 November 2022 (UTC)
