Couldn't still meaning currently be used as an adjective as well as an adverb? It just seems too complicated to add to this page-Paul W

I think it can, though it's not terribly common. Phrases like "the still President", currently timely in the US, come to mind. -- Visviva 11:22, 16 January 2009 (UTC)Reply
I haven't yet found a dictionary that includes this adjective sense. This seems very rarely used by native speakers/writers. I think that merits note. DCDuring TALK 15:19, 16 January 2009 (UTC)Reply

"a device for distilling liquids" edit

...is fine; however, we could go into more detail about how it works. Chambers 1908 has this: "an apparatus for distillation, consisting essentially of a vessel in which the liquid to be distilled is placed, the vapour being conducted by means of a head or neck to the condenser or worm, where it is cooled by water or other means, and again forms liquid". I don't know if there are other kinds. Equinox 18:37, 20 August 2018 (UTC)Reply
