To collect/pick up a parcel? edit

Heard this piece of jargon from the Parcelforce delivery company today: somebody was coming to "uplift" (collect) my parcel. We have a similar sense but the definition appears to restrict it to intransitive. Equinox 10:56, 2 March 2018 (UTC)Reply
