- Entry layout (EL) is a detailed policy on Wiktionary's page formatting; all entries must conform to it. The easiest way to start off is to copy the contents of an existing same-language entry, and then adapt it to fit the entry you are creating.
- Check out Language considerations to find out more about how to edit for a particular language.
- Our Criteria for Inclusion (CFI) defines exactly which words can be added to Wiktionary; the most important part is that Wiktionary only accepts words that have been in somewhat widespread use over the course of at least a year, and citations that demonstrate usage can be asked for when there is doubt.

Hi there! Thanks for adding Bengali translations. Could you tell me where you got the term “সুবে আজাদ” for Free State (province of South Africa)? Did you get this from Wikipedia? - @Svartava2: i mean it's all over the internet. There's plenty of sources on w:Tirumalai (Tamil Nadu) and w:Names_of_Bengal#Historical_names. Here's the full inscription in English website SalamAlayka (talk) 13:52, 30 November 2021 (UTC)
- If it's all over the internet, could you provide a quotation for the term? Another thing: Wikipedia doesn't count as a cite. The website you provided gives the English translation of the inscription instead of the original Sanskrit text, which is the need of the hour. —Svārtava [t•c•u•r] 16:00, 30 November 2021 (UTC)
