- A structure designed to serve as a shelter for bats.

- Between July 2015 and April 2017, we collected bat faecal pellets using two different methods to determine the prevalence of insect pests in faecal pellets. Twenty-one bathouses had been mounted on poles in four orchards in the study area by the company 'EcoSolutions' (Johannesburg, South Africa) in 2014.
