round dance (plural round dances)

  1. (dance) A dance for couples with a whirling or revolving motion, such as the waltz or polka.

  2. (beekeeping) A repetitive, circular movement done by a foraging honey bee in process of communicating to other workers that it has located a significant and nearby food source.
