Etymology edit

Inherited from Ottoman Turkish تكرارلمق (tekrarlamak, to repeat),[1] from Ottoman Turkish تكرار (tekrar, a happening again, recurring, recurrence, repetition), from Arabic تَكْرَار (takrār),[2] morphologically tekrar +‎ -la +‎ -mak.
