- A regional office of the Finnish Ministry of Environment, officially translated into English as Centre for Environment.
Usage notes edit
The Centres for Environment have been discontinued from the beginning of 2010 and replaced with offices called elinkeino-, liikenne- ja ympäristökeskus (“Centre for Economic Development, Transport and the Environment”) or more speaker-friendly ELY-keskus (“ELY Centre”), which are joint regional officies of several ministries.
