Might be related to Ukrainian мути́ти (mutýty, to stir up, to make something muddy, unclear; to create unease, disharmony, to disturb; to make someone feel sick, nauseous), Belarusian мо́ташны (mótašny, nauseating), Ukrainian му́торний (mútornyj, unpleasant, alarming), Ukrainian мото́рний (motórnyj, quick, agile, lively), or Ukrainian мото́ри́ть (motórýtʹ, to make someone feel sick, nauseous).
