Usage notes

Even though the spelling of the initialism is based on the traditional orthography spelling of հեղափոխական (heġapʻoxakan), the -Յ- (-Y-) is usually retained even in texts using the reformed orthography. The Eastern Armenian pronunciation is a spelling pronunciation.
