וְשָׁאֲלָה (v'shaalá)

  1. Third-person feminine singular vav-consecutive perfect (hence future tense) of שָׁאַל (shaál).
    • Tanach, Exodus 3:22, with translation of the Jewish Publication Society:
      וְשָׁאֲלָה אִשָּׁה מִשְּׁכֶנְתָּהּ וּמִגָּרַת בֵּיתָהּ כְּלֵי כֶסֶף וּכְלֵי זָהָב וּשְׂמָלֹת
      v'shaalá ishá mish'chentáh umigarát betáh k'lé chésef uchlé zaháv usmalót
