וַתְּבִאֵהוּ (vat'viéhu)

  1. (rare form) (And) (she/it) brought him/it: third-person feminine singular vav-consecutive imperfect (hence past tense) of הֵבִיא (heví), with a third-person masculine singular pronoun suffixed as direct object.
    • Tanach, Exodus 2:10, with translation of the King James Version:
      וַיִגְדַּל הַיֶּלֶד וַתְּבִאֵהוּ לְבַת פַּרְעֹה וַיְהִי לָהּ לְבֵן
      vayigdál hayéled vat'viéhu l'vát par'ó vay'hí láh l'vén
      And the child grew, and she brought him unto Pharaoh's daughter, and he became her son.
