(intransitive) to fight, to wrestle (to be involved in physical confrontation)
- Tanach, Genesis 32:24, with translation of the New International Version:
  וַיִּוָּתֵר יַעֲקֹב לְבַדּוֹ וַיֵּאָבֵק אִישׁ עִמּוֹ עַד עֲלוֹת הַשָּׁחַר׃
