צ־ר־צ־ר (ṣ-r-ṣ-r)

Cognate with Arabic صَرْصَر (ṣarṣar), صُرْصُر (ṣurṣur) and صُرْصُور (ṣurṣūr) with similar meaning. Presumably onomatopoeic, from the sound the insect makes.
