רְבָבָה (r'vaváf (plural indefinite רְבָבוֹת, plural construct ריבבות / רִבְבוֹת־)

  1. ten thousand, myriad
    בכיכר נאספו רבבות מפגינים.
    Tens of thousands of protesters gathered in the square.
    • Tanach, 1 Samuel 18:7, with translation of the New International Version:
      וַֽתַּעֲנֶינָה הַנָּשִׁים הַֽמְשַׂחֲקֹות וַתֹּאמַרְן הִכָּה שָׁאוּל [בַּאֲלָפָיו] וְדָוִד בְּרִבְבֹתָיו׃
