خَادُوم • (ḵādūm) m (plural خَوَادِيم (ḵawādīm))

1. (computing) server

   يُتَمُّ تَحْدِيثُ الْبَرَمَجِيَّاتِ عَلَى الْخَادِمِ بِانْتِظَامٍ.

   Software updates are regularly applied to the server.

   تَعْطُلُ الْخَادُومُ الْلَّيْلَةَ الْمَاضِيَةَ، مُسَّبًّبًا انْقِطَاعًا مُؤَقَّتًا فِي خِدْمَاتِنَا عَبْرَ الْإِنْتِرْنِت.

   The server malfunctioned last night, causing a temporary interruption in our internet services.
