  4. living (in villages i.e.) among men, domesticated, tame (an animal), cultivated (a plant ; opposed to वन्य or अरण्य, ‘wild’).
  5. allowed in a village, relating to the sensual pleasures of a village.
  6. rustic, vulgar (speech).
