Learned borrowing from Sanskrit प्रार्थना (prārthanā). Doublet of অর্থ (ortho), অর্থাৎ (orthat), প্রার্থী (prarthi), ব্যর্থ (bêrtho), সমর্থ (śomortho), সমর্থন (śomorthon), and সাথে (śathe).
