Usually follows a noun in the accusative[1] case. It marks different things, depending on the type of sentence:
- Agent of a sentence which is in the passive voice
- Instrument with which an action is performed[2]
- Marks a clause which has been nominalised as a subordinate reason clause[3]
- Marks the second-level causee of a verb[1]
