Etymology

From ჯეკა- (ceǩa-) +‎ ო- (o-) +‎ ბგარ- (bgar-) +‎ -ს (-s). In the Vizha and Artasheni dialects all consonant clusters at the end of the words are simplified into (y).

    Synonyms: ჯაბგაჲ (cabgay), ეკაბგარს (eǩabgars), ეკვობგაჲ (eǩvobgay)
    ბერე ნანა-მუში ჯეკვობგაჲ.
    bere nana-muşi ceǩvobgay.
    The child cries after his mother.
