ᄀᆞ을
Jeju
editEtymology
editLikely borrowed from Early Modern Korean ᄀᆞ을 (koul),[1] from Middle Korean ᄀᆞᅀᆞᆶ (kozolh), from earlier Old Korean 秋察 (*KOsol, *KOcol). The traditional reflex would have preserved the original /s/ as seen in doublets ᄀᆞ슬 (gawseul) and ᄀᆞ실 (gawsil). Cognate with Korean 가을 (ga'eul).
