Reborrowed from Thai พวง (puuang), itself from Old Khmer ប្វង (pvaṅa), បូង (pūṅa, mass, cluster; whole, all), from Proto-Mon-Khmer *buəŋ (bunch, collection). Cognates include the doublet ពួង (puəng, all), Vietnamese buồng (bunch).
