ᩃ (la)
- The 36th letter and 28th consonant of the Tai Tham Pali alphabet. In Pali it represents the dental lateral approximant consonant /l/.
Usage notesEdit
The subscript form mostly used for consonant clusters, especially in Pali, is the character separately encoded as ᩖ. For the final consonant of a syllable, the subscript form overwhelmingly used is the one formally associated with the Unicode character ᩃ, as in ᨲᩣ᩠ᩃ.
- ᩁ (previous letter of the Pali alphabet)
- ᩅ (next letter of the Pali alphabet)
