Egyptian edit

Etymology edit

ḥtp (to be(come) content or satisfied; to be(come) peaceful, to reconcile) +‎ sḫm (divine power) +‎ -wj (dual ending), thus ‘the Two Powers are content/satisfied’, or perhaps rather ‘the Two Powers are reconciled/at peace’, with the Two Powers likely a reference to Horus and Set.
