Usage notes edit

The official value is ⟨◌̽⟩. However, it is also the result of superscripting x, a superscript provided for by the IPA Handbook. As ⟨◌̽⟩ only occurs on vowels and ⟨ˣ⟩ mostly occurs after consonants, context will often disambiguate.
