Etymology edit

First attested in the Sinjeung yuhap (新增類合 / 신증유합), 1576, as Middle Korean ᄲᅢ티다 (Yale: spaythita). Equivalent to 빼— (ppae-) + —치— (-chi-) + —다 (-da).
